Smedjen in Tejn

At the harbour in Tejn you will find Smedjen, a brand new meeting point for local creatives selling their products in Smedjen's small stalls. Smedjen opened in 2022 and has since then become a gateway for both locals and visitors of the island who want to explore local products and enjoy delicious streetfood in the old industrial building.

For the second year in a row, the stall holders and Smedjen's owners, Tue and Jakob, transform the raw building into a sparkling, bright and bubbly indoor Christmas market, where local artisans, food producers and other creatives with roots in Bornholm fill the many stalls with Bornholm products of all kinds.

You will find i.a. local jewelry makers, ceramicists, wood workers, beekeepers and textile artists but also local historians who share their knowledge of Tejn and the surrounding area. In Smedjen's own bar, Bisselinebar, you can enjoy a warm cup of mulled wine and æbleskiver (traditional Danish pancake puffs) or you can satisfy a slightly bigger hunger in Smedjen's selection of street food stalls.
