Activity
Are you interested in craftsmanship, and want to experience some of the best bornholmer, national, and international craft? Then a visit to Bornholms Center for Craftsmanship is definetely for you.

Let your tour through Bornholm's thriving and inspiring culture in arts and crafts begin at Bornholm Arts & Crafts Center. Here you can explore a large collection of primarily Bornholm, but also national and international, arts and crafts. All gathered in a beautiful setting in an old warehouse in Hasle, which in itself is worth a visit.

In 2024 a total of 20 exhibitions will be presented by bornholmer, national, and international craftsmen that offer up unique works made in ceramics, glass, wood, textiles, metals, paper, and more.

Among other things the local crafts association ACAB will be showing their grand shared exhibition called 'Marguerit' - a celebration of Queen Margrethe. Baltic Sea Glass are showing their thus far largest glass works, and the designers Egeværk and Backhouse Brown will show a new series of glass ships inspired by bornholmer stone carvings. From mid september the center will be filled by European Ceramic Context 2024, where the newest within ceramics is presented from 31 european countries.

The exhibitions are presented within seven lovely renovated rooms, that carry on the buildings legacy as a warehouse with visible beams and squeaky wood floors. Don't miss out on a tour of the tower in one of the rooms, where you'll find a awe-insiring view of Hasle and the baltic sea.

In the center's café you can enjoy a bit of pastry and a cup of coffee served in borholmer ceramics. Finish your visit in the center's store where you have the possibility of purchasing all sorts of local craftsmanship for yourself or a loved one.
