Strandhotel Balka Søbad

Badehotel Balka Søbad is a seaside hotel on the eastern side of South Bornholm. The hotel is located on a large natural ground surrounded by pine trees and right next to one of the loveliest beaches on Bornholm, Balka beach.

Balka beach offers a sea of fun activities for all. The fine sand and the shallow water are ideal for a beach trip with smaller children. If you're up for challeging yourself with windsurfing, kayaking or stand up paddle, you can rent equipment or at the water sports center, Eastwind, located on the beach.

From the hotel you can walk along the coast to the old fishing village Snogebæk (1 km) in the south or Bornholm's second largest town, Nexø (2,5 km) in the north. Both offers restaurants, cafées, smoke houses and shops.

The hotel offers different room types with up to 5 beds. All rooms have the option of adding an extra bed. The rooms were renovated in 2022 and are bright and well-furnished. All rooms face south-east or south-west and have a private terrace or balcony with garden furniture.

Every morning, all guests are offered a breakfast buffet from 7:30 to 10:00.

In the hotel's main building you will find reception, restaurant with a terrace, bar and lounge. The hotel also offers, among other things, a heated pool with a children's section, playground, laundry, bicycle rental, charging stations for electric cars and free parking.
