Admission Ticket to Bornholm’s Medieval Centre
Step into an authentic medieval environment with farm animals, rural houses, a fortified manor, a watermill, and much more. Here, the whole family can get up close to what life was like for both poor peasant families and wealthy noblemen, while trying out archery, coin minting, pottery, and more.
You decide how you want to explore the Medieval Centre. You can borrow a pocket guide from the museum and explore on your own, or join one of the free guided tours led by the museum’s educators. Whether the sun is shining or the rain is pouring, there’s always something to do.
Every day during both high and low season, Bornholm’s Medieval Centre offers a wide range of fun activities for all ages, both indoors and outdoors. Make your own silver coin, paint with pigments and beer like medieval painters did, shoot with bow and arrow, and see (and hear!) the cannon fire.
During the high season (see dates below), the Medieval Centre is even more lively. Meet volunteer medieval reenactors showcasing their crafts; attend pirate school and board the ship “Kyt”; listen to exciting stories and music; watch the dyer at work; join the action-packed roleplay “The Battle for the Flag” and enjoy the fun children’s jester show.
